Public parks in Doha witness daily activities under the “365 Days of Activity” program, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.

The green spaces in these parks transform into lively sports arenas buzzing with energy and vitality, welcoming all family members and various community groups—men, women, and children alike. This free sports program runs throughout the year, with women’s fitness sessions held at Al Luqta and Oxygen Parks from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, while men train in Aspire, Al Rayyan, and Al Gharafa Parks from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The “365 Days of Activity” program offers fitness exercises that bring families together under one sporting umbrella, accommodating all age groups from 7 to 65 years old. This initiative supports the vision and plans of the Ministry of Sports and Youth by providing opportunities for everyone to engage in physical activity and fostering the development of a holistic sports community. The Qatar Sports for All Federation places great emphasis on encouraging sports participation for all family members by organizing numerous events and activities that promote community sports. These ongoing initiatives aim to make sport a lifestyle and provide accessible opportunities for everyone.

The program also includes a variety of other sports activities, such as daily fitness exercises and competitions for women at Al Luqta and Oxygen Parks, and for men at Aspire, Al Rayyan, and Al Gharafa Parks. These sessions are led by a group of specialized trainers and include plank challenges, long jumps, push-ups, speed tests, ball throwing for distance, balance, and flexibility exercises. Competitions focus on three main events:

  • Strength — throwing a 5 kg ball into a designated area,

  • Speed — running a 50-meter sprint,

  • Endurance — holding a plank position for the longest time.

The Fitness Championship is a key activity within the community sports calendar. The federation continuously develops these events through interactive programs open to everyone—men, women, children, and seniors—to practice sports in a safe and attractive environment.

There are also specialized training sessions for girls aged 6 to 10 years to learn the basics of karate under the supervision of qualified female coaches. These sessions aim to build self-confidence and teach the principles of self-defense.

The federation facilitates easy registration and participation for anyone wishing to join the Sports for All programs through the official QSFA app, which allows community members to engage in daily sports activities offered by the Qatar Sports for All Federation. The annual calendar features over 750 sports events and championships.
