Qatar’s public parks welcome members of the community every afternoon throughout the year, providing opportunities for people who are committed to staying active and exercising regularly. With no age limit, the training sessions accommodate participants ranging from children as young as seven to seniors aged 65, through the 365 Days of Activity program organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The program aims to provide all members of the community with the opportunity to participate in regular sports training under the supervision of specialized coaches, while also providing female coaches for women and girls. Women’s training sessions are held daily at Al Luqta Park from 5:00 PM for one hour. For men, training sessions take place at Aspire, Al Rayyan, and Al Gharrafa Parks, which serve as daily gathering points for Sports for All activities on the green spaces.

The 365 Days of Activity program focuses on bodyweight training under the guidance of community coaches, with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of sports and encouraging participants to maintain regular physical activity. The outdoor training sessions feature a range of familiar and traditional fitness exercises, including push-ups, planks, endurance exercises performed for extended periods, and pushing a weighted ball within a designated circle. Participants also take part in running races over set distances. More recently, the 365 Days of Activity sessions have incorporated community running exercises, while the women’s training program has also introduced dedicated fitness sessions for young girls.
