The Ladies’ Evening at the Education City Stadium continues to attract increasing numbers of participants with each new session. This event, organized by Qatar Foundation in cooperation with the Qatar Sports for All Federation under the umbrella of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, sees large groups of women and girls joining to enjoy a unique sports and recreational experience in an atmosphere that respects privacy and safety.
Mothers and daughters actively participate in various sports activities within a supportive environment that values women’s privacy and fosters their athletic development. The Ladies’ Evening is part of the diverse calendar of activities offered by the Sports for All Summer 2025 program, held at stadiums, sports halls, clubs, youth centers, public parks, and schools. The program involves 28 ministries, institutions, organizations, and commercial centers and runs until August 7th.
The summer program aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage all segments of society — especially children and students — to continue engaging in physical activity during the summer break.
The Ladies’ Evening takes place every Tuesday from 6 PM to 10 PM and lasts four hours. It has received a great response from women and girls, with a total of 1,633 participants in various sports activities since the current season began. Activities include running, high-intensity fat-burning workouts, football, basketball, volleyball, archery, fencing, stretching, and relaxation exercises.
The event goes beyond sports, offering educational and recreational games for children, allowing mothers to participate alongside their kids in a family-friendly atmosphere. The latest edition also introduced a science and technology zone featuring innovative activities such as robotic football, virtual reality simulations, and gait analysis systems.
Abdullah Al-Dosari, Executive Director of the Qatar Sports for All Federation, explained that the regular organization of the Ladies’ Evening within the Sports for All Summer activities reflects the ongoing success of previous editions, which saw wide participation and strong engagement. He emphasized the Federation’s special focus on women due to their vital role in society, which is reflected practically through dedicated events supervised by female trainers, in cooperation and coordination with various institutions.
Many participants highlighted that the interactive atmosphere and practicing sports boosted their energy and sense of renewal. They praised the cooling system at the Education City Stadium for providing a comfortable sports environment. Tuesday evenings have become a key platform for social bonding, offering privacy and safety while empowering participants to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.
