Al Gharafa Sports Club held its Ordinary General Assembly yesterday for the 2026–2027 sports season, in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Jassim bin Thamer Al Thani, President of the Club. Rashid bin Issa Al Dosari, the Club’s General Manager, delivered a welcoming speech to the Assembly members, during which a documentary video showcasing the Club’s achievements across various sports was presented.

Sheikh Jassim opened the Assembly, emphasizing in his speech the Club’s return to its natural position through achieving success and accomplishments. He also expressed his appreciation to the Assembly members for their continued support of the Club and extended his thanks to His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Jassim, Head of the Club’s Football Department, for his personal initiative in carrying out several positive developments and modern upgrades to some of the Club’s facilities, in line with its aspirations for continued progress.

Following the Assembly, Sheikh Jassim bin Thamer Al Thani accompanied the members on an inspection tour to review the renovations and developments made to several Club facilities. The members expressed their admiration and extended their thanks to the President and everyone involved in the Club’s operations.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Jassim Al Thani also expressed his great appreciation to all General Assembly members, praising their support for the Club’s management. He affirmed that this support further strengthens the sense of responsibility among everyone working for the Club and expressed his hopes for continued success and further achievements to bring joy to all members of Al Gharafa and their loyal fans.
