The first edition of the Sports for All Athletics Championship, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, witnessed strong participation from female students representing 12 girls’ primary schools. The championship competitions were hosted by Maimouna Bint Al-Harith Primary School for Girls, in the presence of representatives from the Educational Guidance Department, amid a distinctive sporting atmosphere characterized by enthusiasm and exciting competition. The championship is being held as part of the Qatar Sports for All Federation’s commitment to expanding participation in sports, promoting physical activity in schools, encouraging female students to engage in sports, and developing their physical and technical abilities, while also instilling the values of fair competition and sportsmanship.
The competitions featured a diverse range of athletics events, providing the students with an opportunity to showcase their skills and physical abilities and to experience a new and unique competitive environment filled with interaction and enthusiasm, with excellent organization by the host school. The participating schools were: Al Thumama Primary School for Girls, Al Huda Primary School for Girls, Al Khwarizmi Primary School for Girls, Muaither Primary School for Girls, Amna Al Jaidah Primary School for Girls, Al Taawun Primary School for Girls, Al Shamal Primary School for Girls, Halima Al Saadia Primary School for Girls, Maryam Bint Imran Primary School for Girls, Khadija Primary School for Girls, Mouza Bint Mohammed Primary School for Girls, and Maimouna Bint Al-Harith Primary School for Girls, the host school of the championship.
