Important Information

• The concerned entity must decide on the request within fifteen days from the date of submission and may extend this period for a similar duration, depending on the nature or amount of information requested.
• The information seeker must be notified of the acceptance of the request in whole or in part or the rejection of the request and the reasons for rejection, via email within seven days from the date of deciding on the request.
•  In urgent requests, the concerned entity must decide on the request within two days from the date of submission, whether by accepting the request or rejecting it with reasons.
•  The information seeker must receive the information within seven days from the date of notification of the acceptance of the request in whole or in part, otherwise, a new request must be submitted.
•  The information seeker may appeal to the head of the entity in case of rejection of their request within thirty days from the date of notification of the decision, and the head must decide on the appeal within fifteen days from the date of submission, and the expiration of this period without a decision is considered an implicit rejection.
