The Ministry of Sports and Youth, through the Qatar Athletics Federation, is organizing the “One Run for All” global marathon, which will take place at 7:30 PM on May 19th next month, with the participation of 1500 runners of all ages and categories.

This race is being held for the first time in Qatar, where Doha will host the largest global half-marathon, with over 190,000 runners participating worldwide. Among them, 160,000 are from various regions and cities in Russia, and 30,000 are from other countries including China, Brazil, Egypt, Serbia, Bahrain, Cameroon, and Armenia, all running simultaneously and at the same time.

This sports event is being organized in collaboration with the Russian Embassy, the Athletics Federation, Hero League Company, Ajoor Sport Company, and the Losail International Circuit, which will host the race.

Mr. Abdullah Al-Dosari, Head of Activities and Events at the Qatar Athletics Federation, stated that the race consists of four distances: 1km, 5km, 10km, and 21km, providing a great opportunity for participants to enjoy a sporting evening with family and friends for running enthusiasts.

During a press conference held today at the Ministry of Sports and Youth headquarters at the Losail Sports Arena, Al-Dosari emphasized that participation is open to everyone and available through the Qatar Athletics Federation’s app, aiming to engage all segments of society in this global event.
