Under the guidance of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and in partnership with UNICEF and Qatar Museums, the third edition of the international forum Youth at Hostel kicked off today under the theme Goal No. (4): Quality Education. The event is being held at the Qatar Museums – Youth Hub from November 9 to 12, 2025.

This edition is considered exceptional in terms of the number and diversity of participants, with 33 young men and women from various countries including Qatar, Slovenia, Spain, India, Pakistan, Tunisia, Libya, Sudan, Lebanon, and Bahrain. The participants gather around a shared goal — to develop recommendations that contribute to improving the quality and methods of education worldwide.

The forum includes a series of workshops and discussion sessions featuring a distinguished group of governmental and private entities, such as UNICEF, the International Youth Hostel Federation, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the National Planning Council, the Ministry of Social Development and Family, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Qatar University, Qatar Museums, Education Above All Foundation, Erthna, and Aqua Sports Company.

The program also features field visits for the participating delegations to explore Qatar’s most prominent cultural, historical, and touristic landmarks, including Qatar Foundation, Souq Waqif, Msheireb Downtown Doha, and other destinations that highlight the country’s heritage and modern spirit.

In this context, Mr. Abdullah Saeed, Head of the Public Relations and Communication Department at Qatar Youth Hostels, stated: “The organizing team worked hard to deliver an exceptional edition of the forum that reflects Qatar’s distinguished global standing. This event reaffirms Qatar Youth Hostels’ commitment to supporting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by integrating them into its annual programs. The forum embodies this commitment in practice, as each year it focuses on one of the SDGs. At the conclusion of this edition, participants will select the goal that will be addressed in the next forum.”
