The Gulf Football Union today unveiled the new logo for the 2026–2027 Gulf Club Champions League, with the tournament set to begin on October 13 and run through April 30, 2027, featuring 12 clubs representing the union’s member national associations.

In a statement, the union explained that the new logo reflects the growing stature of the Gulf Club Champions League and marks a new phase of development and excellence in regional club competitions.

The logo’s design is centered around a football, representing the heart of the tournament, surrounded by interconnected flowing elements arranged in a circular formation. The design symbolizes continuous movement, the unity of the Gulf member associations and their sporting integration, as well as the spirit of fair competition that brings together the region’s leading clubs in a single tournament.

Mr. Jassim Sultan Al Rumaihi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Football Union, said the new logo reflects the union’s vision of delivering an exceptional edition on all fronts, through fruitful cooperation with the Gulf member associations and relevant stakeholders.

“We are confident that the logo of the Gulf Club Champions League, which is heading into its third edition, will resonate with football fans and receive a wide response across the region,” he said.

He noted that the unveiling of the tournament logo marks the beginning of the countdown to one of the region’s most prominent club competitions. During the coming period, the Gulf Football Union will work closely with all member national associations to provide an outstanding experience that will remain memorable for participating clubs, players and fans alike.

The unveiling of the new logo represents another step in the ongoing preparations for the third edition of the Gulf Club Champions League, as the Gulf Football Union looks to deliver a new edition that strengthens the tournament’s position, meets the aspirations of Gulf clubs and fans, and highlights the importance of regional competitions in supporting and developing football across the region.
