Qatar Camel Sports Club is a specialized sports Club focused on camel beauty contests (“Mazayen”). It was established by the Minister of Sports and Youth Decision No. (12) of the year 2021.
The Club aims to support and encourage all activities and races related to camel Mazayen contests, develop them, organize camel Mazayen festivals in Qatar, participate in external festivals, and support interested individuals to facilitate their participation both within and outside the country.
The Club is responsible for establishing and managing sports facilities related to camel Mazayen contests, following the latest standards and specifications, maintaining and preserving them. Additionally, it organizes seminars and workshops in this field to raise awareness among the owners of camels about the requirements of these festivals. The Club also conducts research and studies and collaborates with regional and international entities and organizations related to this field.
