The Qatar Billiards & Snooker Federation was established in 1991 with the aim of organizing and developing the sports of billiards and snooker in the State of Qatar. The Federation is headquartered in Doha and operates under the supervision of the official sports authorities. It serves as the governing body responsible for managing all affairs related to the sport at the national level, in addition to representing the State of Qatar in relevant regional and international championships and events.
Objectives of the Federation:
To promote and develop the sports of billiards and snooker within the Qatari community.
To organize and supervise local tournaments and competitions.
To train and qualify technical and administrative staff, referees, and coaches.
To represent the State of Qatar in international billiards and snooker championships and meetings.
To collaborate with regional and international sports federations and organizations.
To support athletic talent and enhance the performance level of Qatari players in both sports.
To contribute to fostering the values of sportsmanship and fair competition among youth.
