Muaither Sports Club was established in the State of Qatar for an indefinite period. It was officially registered based on the President of the General Authority for Youth and Sports decision No. (50) of (1998), under the name of “Al Shabab Sports Club” in accordance with the provisions of Law number (5) of the year 1984 and its amendments. The Club’s name was later changed to “Muaither Sports Club” based on the Vice President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Decision No. (27) of (2000). After the establishment of Muaither Sports Club and with the grace of Allah and the efforts of the founders, the Club’s first building was constructed and inaugurated.
Currently, Muaither Sports Club competes in the second division of Qatari Clubs. The Club has previously been promoted to the first division and participated in the Stars League of Qatar in the seasons 2012/2013, 2013/2014, and 2015/2016. The Club is represented by its first team and various youth teams, including (juniors, youth, cadets, hopefuls, and youngsters). The Club has achieved commendable positions in all age categories, and now it is ranked first in all youth and youngsters’ categories.
