Mesaimeer Sports Club was established in 1998 under the name of “Al Nahda Sports Club” for an indefinite period. The Club was officially registered under number 1998/19M based on the General Authority for Youth and Sports Decision No. (50) of 1998. Later, the name was changed to “Al Shula Sports Club” by the General Authority for Youth and Sports Decision No. (21) of 1999. Subsequently, the name was changed again to “Mesaimeer Sports Club” by the Vice President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Decision No. (29) of 2004, which approved the decision of the Board of Directors of Al Shula Sports Club to change the Club’s name to the Mesaimeer Sports Club.
