Al Wakrah Sports Club was founded in Qatar in [1959] under the Minister of Education and the President of the Qatar Sports Federation Decision No. [3] of [1965], in accordance with the provisions of Law No. [6] of [1963] regulating sports and cultural Clubs and its amendments, under the name of Al Shabab Sports Club in Al Wakrah.
It was re-registered based on the Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Decision No. [19] of [1986], Registration No. [3] according to the provisions of Law No. [5] of [1984] regulating the Clubs and its amendments, under the name of Al Wakrah Sports Club.
