Al Sailiya Sports Club was established in the State of Qatar based on the General Authority of Youth and Sports Decision No. (50) of 1998, under the name of Al Qadisiya Sports Club, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (5) of 1984 regulating Clubs and its amendments. The Club’s bylaws were later amended based on the General Authority of Youth and Sports Decision No. (10) of 2000, and the Club’s name was changed to Al Sailiya Sports Club based on the Vice President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Decision No. (34) of 2003. It is a sports Club primarily focused on football practice.
