When the Club was registered, it was initially named “Al-Hilal Sports Club” and later changed its name to its current name “Al-Kharaitiyat Sport Club” on 19/10/2004, based on the Deputy Chairman of the Qatar Olympic Committee Decision No. (31) of 2004.
